President's Thanks to Our Patron, Senior Minister of State Desmond Tan following our recent AGM 2025

"On behalf of the Singapore Rowing Association, we would like to say a special thank you to our Patron, Senior Minister of State Desmond Tan, Senior Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, Deputy Secretary-General of the National Trades Union Congress, and Member of Parliament.

SMS Desmond Tan has remained one of our strongest and most consistent supporters.

His guidance, encouragement, and belief in our mission and purpose as the Nation’s sporting association for Rowing have played an instrumental role in advancing the development of rowing in Singapore. He has also been our cheer leader and someone I can turn to for guidance and support.

His continued patronage reflects his deep commitment to nurturing sporting excellence, strengthening community engagement, and supporting organisations that strive to create meaningful opportunities for our youth and athletes in Singapore.

As we prepare to embark on our upcoming fundraising efforts for the infrastructure redevelopment master plan, we are honoured to have SMS Desmond Tan standing alongside us and to champion our initiative. His support provides both inspiration and confidence as we work towards building a stronger foundation, both in terms of infrastructure and also our human talent, for the future of Singapore rowing.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our Patron for his unwavering support and leadership, and we look forward to continuing this meaningful journey together.
