Singapore Athletes Deliver Strong Results at the Asian Rowing Beach Sprint Championships 20269/6/2026
The Singapore Rowing Association is proud of our athletes' performances at the Asian Rowing Beach Sprint Championships 2026, where they competed against the best beach sprint rowers from across Asia.
The Beach Sprint format is a demanding competition that requires athletes to progress through multiple rounds: ✅ Time Trial ✅ Knockout Round ✅ Quarter-Final ✅ Semi-Final ✅ Final Our athletes battled through these rounds and achieved commendable results against highly competitive fields. Results: 🏅 Tan Jian Kai – U19 Men's Singles 6th Place Competed against athletes from 12 nations Progressed through the competition to secure a top-six finish in Asia. 🏅 Joan Poh & Giovanni Low – Mixed Doubles 7th Place Competed against 11 entries Narrowly missed out on the semi-finals after facing China in the Quarter-Finals. China went on to claim the Gold Medal, highlighting the strength of the opposition faced. 🏅 U16 Men's Singles 6th Place Competed against 9 entries These results are a testament to the hard work, perseverance, and commitment shown by our athletes and coaching team. Competing on the international stage provides valuable experience and continues to strengthen Singapore's presence in beach sprint rowing.
